Allowing AppRiver Permissions for Security Audit

This article will walk you through granting AppRiver permissions to run a Security Audit on your Office 365 tenant. These steps will not affect your current permissions or subscriptions and you can remove the AppRiver permissions after the Security Audit is complete if you choose to do so.

1. Sign into https://portal.office.com with the licensed Global Admin account that the AppRiver permissions email was sent to.

2. Once you are signed in click on Outlook.

4. In the Accept Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider window click Sign In.

5. In the Accept Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider Invitation window check the "Yes, I have read and understand the terms..." check box then click Authorize CSP.

6. In the Accept Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider invitation window click Close.

7. Congratulations!!! You have successfully granted AppRiver permissions.

Note: if you would like to remove the AppRiver permissions follow the steps below.

1. After logging into https://portal.office.com as a Global Admin click on Admin.

2. Click on the Settings drop-down in the left menu then click on Partner Relationships.

3. In the Partner Relationships window select the check box for AppRiver then click Remove Delegated Admin.

4. In the Removed Delegated Admin window click Remove.

5. In the Remove Delegated Admin window click Close.

6. You have successfully removed AppRiver's Delegated Admin permissions.
