Step 1: In the bottom left hand corner of the accounts screen, click the "Plus" symbol to add a new account

Step 2: Select "Exchange..." as your account type

Step 1: Enter your email address

Step 2: Your email address is your username

Step 3: Enter your password

Step 4: Leave "Configure automatically" checked

Step 5: Click "Add Account:

This prompt is asking you if you want to allow Outlook 2011 to be automatically configured for your Exchange account.

Check "Always use my response for this server" then select "Allow"

At first you will see a yellow light next to the exchange account while it sets up in outlook

The account will then go green and you are ready to start using Outlook 2011 for Mac with Microsoft Exchange!
